Propaganda, Mary Bielski & Rapture Ruckus in the first announcement for Festival One 2020

It’s a real pleasure to let you in on the first announcement of Festival One 2020. We have been hard at work curating the best possible festival for you. So let’s get into it.

From the same soil that grew Jim Morrison, Tony Hawk, NWA, Snoop, & Kendrick Lamar, grows another LA native, Propaganda. He’s a poet, political activist, husband, father, academic, & emcee. With LA flowing through his veins & armed with a bold message, Propaganda has assembled a body of work that challenges his listeners with every verse & reaches across the spectrum of pop culture. From aggressive battle raps to smooth introspective rhythms, Propaganda’s music will cause you to nod your head, but more importantly it will stretch your mind & heart.Take a listen:

Mary Bielski

Keynote Speaker Mary Bielski has been in ministry for over 15 years. Her story will inspire you. As a Catholic she describes her early faith as an obligation, not a relationship. She describes how she met Him at 19: “I met the One who created me, called me, loved me. When I found Christ, I found myself.” Through her passion and teaching, she seeks to draw her audience to the beauty of a deeper love for Christ, and the call to holiness.“Change Requires Courage. No one talks about the messy journey to sanctify. We fight our lies, our weakness, our pasts. In the midst of the mess, bravery is needed. Bravery means this: that we have the courage to trust in a love story greater than our lies, or past and our weakness”We can’t wait to hear what she has got to say about hope and the future of the church.

Rapture Ruckus

You already know. After playing two packed out, energy heavy sets last Festival the boys are back for another very special show. For those of you living under a rock, Rapture Ruckus is a musical force to be reckoned with. They have released over a hundred songs and performed over a thousand times in their 12 year career. RR’s mash of creative styles has created a back catalogue of diverse and unique musical journeys with strong themes of Faith, identity, acceptance, redemption and social justice. In a 2016 interview, frontman Brad Dring said, “I’ve always been attracted to music full of passion, honesty and truth, I guess I’ve just always written songs for the 16 year old version of myself who was desperately trying to fit in and be noticed.”Get reacquainted here:

Mystery Creek Historic Village

We will be back in the Historical Village of Mystery Creek as preparations continue at Hartford Farm (updates on this soon). How good were the vibes there last year? The floating market stage will be back along with a couple of surprises (as always).

Capped at 5,000 tickets

This year we have a capped capacity of 5,000 tickets & seeing as we have already sold 2,661 you don’t want to let this slip. We totally understand it’s unconventional to buy tickets before the all bands are announced but to be honest, we don’t consider ourselves a music festival. Festival One is a space for people across our nation to come together, eat great food, listen to amazing music and to be inspired and grow through community, seminars & workshops. We spend countless hours curating speakers, missions agencies, activities and of course bands to create incredible festivals each year. Our hope is that you see what we are doing and want to be a part of it, regardless of who is headlining. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have more announcements rolling out over the next few months, but why wait? Grab your tickets today before they are all gone.We can’t wait to see you!Buy Tickets
